The project focused on mental health, self-awareness, and personal development through art, theater, and group work.
During the week-long stay, participants from Poland, Cyprus, Lithuania, Spain, Portugal, and Romania took part in a series of workshops and activities developing social and emotional skills. We learned, among other things, techniques for coping with stress and anxiety, discovered our comfort zones, practiced attentive listening, and learned ways to support others.
One of the most interesting elements was working with the “Theatre of the Oppressed” method – we prepared and staged short plays addressing issues of discrimination, such as sexism, racism, and ageism. This helped us develop creativity, empathy, and cooperation.
There were also integration and cultural activities – during intercultural evenings, each country presented its traditions, dances, and dishes, and during our stay in Limassol, we learned about the history and culture of Cyprus.
The whole week was an opportunity to gain new skills: intercultural communication, teamwork, self-awareness, and leadership!
