Project progress:

This time, we took part in a project called “Ambassadors of Future,” which took place in Lithuania, in the small town of Renavas. Countries such as Poland, Bulgaria, Romania, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Lithuania participated in the exchange.

During their stay in Renavas, participants had the opportunity to take part in workshops on business and related topics. In addition, each country’s delegation was tasked with preparing one workshop—ROE representatives were assigned the topic of marketing and advertising, which was perfect for us!

The concept of “social business” was the focus of the entire project. During the exchange, participants not only learned what this concept entails, but were also tasked with working in groups to prepare a plan for their own business, which, in addition to generating profit, would focus on helping specific social groups or solving problems in the world. Among the ideas put forward by the project participants were a café employing people with disabilities and an eco-friendly toy sewing workshop employing retirees. At the end, each group was tasked with recording an interesting advertising spot about their business.

During the 10-day stay in Lithuania, there was also time for excursions. The project participants spent a day in the seaside town of Klaipėda and visited the beautiful palace in Renavas. It was a great time for our representatives!

These activities are funded by the European Union under the Erasmus+ program. The project leader is the Lithuanian organization @ngosocialsteps.
