Summary of the project: The ultimate goal of “EUnvironmental emergency in simple words” project is to advance youth’ attention on the subject so as they will be inspired to act as influencers and opinion-leaders challenging their communities under the same aim of the conservation of our planet. Communities need peers to act as leaders in taking initiatives under a common force. Citizens are keen on identifying personalities other than politicians to get influenced and inspired by and young people can successfully serve that role. Therefore, a concrete aim of this project is to raise awareness on the communities by motivating young people to convey the message of a sustainable life. As the Project Results will be of access by any interest stakeholder, the project aims to leave its mark in the youth sector by allowing youth to take advantage and make use of the guides, the online interactive courses, the comics and the games and help people increase their awareness towards the climate change.
Project progress:

2.Cyprus – 07.11.2023 – 12.11.2023
This time, representatives of ROE, together with their partners met in the sunny capital of Cyprus – Nicosia.
Behind them were days filled with numerous discussions and planning the next project steps, as well as summarizing the activities that have already been implemented. And there is much to boast about, as the first stage of creating the “Envictionary” publication has already took place.
The participants were also busy working on the next project result, namely an Educational Guide for teachers and youth workers on non-formal learning approaches concerning the environment.
They also set goals for the next meetings, namely the development of online courses on environmental terminology, comic books and board games made from recycled materials. Stay tuned because there are lots of exciting updates coming up!
